I disabled thread rating feature (giving threads 1-5 stars). It seemed mostly unused and despite being not allowed for bots, they love hitting it up anyway
@Daffy_Duck, apparently there's a Blu-ray that's been released somewhere, maybe a Spanish grey area bootleg, as FraMeSToR released a remux with Dolby 5.1 @ 448 kbps only, the whole thing being 14.2GB with 19.5 mbps for the video stream. I wouldn't expect a remastered Blu-ray or a UHD soon as it's a catalog title from Disney and not a very highly regarded movie.
"Sleepers" UHD announced with both theatrical mix and director's remix in dts HDMA 5.1. Back cover disclosed on blu-ray.com. That's cool to have on a Warner disc, not even a Criterion or an Arrow.
Would users here be interested in collaborating on an online spreadsheet with film titles and links to various audio rips? That would be a lot easier I think than having dozens of different threads.
Hello everyone, I know open link-posting is not ordinarily permitted here, but I have a lot of old audio files from moshrom (Blah-ray.com guy). I'd like other people to have the chance to use them but don't want to make a thread for each, and monitor each one.
@Daffy_Duck, yes, I know and I was impressed, especially for YouTube compression, and yet the actual release which is now available seems to have used the same subpar material as the 2 volumes on UHD. At least, the Crazy 88 scene is now fully in color.
@Hitcher, well, it doesn't look as good as expected. No real remaster seems to have been done. To me, it looks just like the disappointment that were the 2 seperate volumes on UHD.
Come on now, there was alot going on in full house I wouldn't say the worst mother ever, at least she finally remembered, where as the dad did not. And she did whatever she had to do, to get back home.
Does anyone have the JP UHD and could please provide some high quality screenshots of the scene where the jeeps arrive at the T-Rex paddock? I need to see the full panorama from left to right, so 2 or 3 screenshots would be great! https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/jurass...1103234347
[reciting 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.] ....When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature sleigh, and...and Eddie with a man in his pajamas and a dog chain tied to his wrist and ankles. What the...?
First I wanted to take the Universal logo as a reference, but that would have resulted in a mess. So I was looking for a proper "neutral" look, which was kind of difficult, because colours where all over the place
Hey, Daffy, I see in the end the raw scans and then the color correction, but what was the reference if any? Did you just go with what you considered look good?
There is also rumours of a dispute between Ken Russell and one of the top dogs at Warner which lasts to this day and is the real reason its locked up. I imagine its part of some internal agreement nobody wants to touch!
Has anyone considered making a "the keep" Treatment for Ken Russel's The Devils? It's still insane WB won't allow the film to be restored even to this day
Well, if true, I can't wait to see where they mess up. Framing, grain, colors, sound mixes? All of the above? At least, it could be a better source for new fan projects.
