Since the Blu-Ray releases of the films have only ever included the Unrated cut of the film, did the Theatrical Cut ever get put out in HD anywhere either in the form of a HDTV cap or anything similar? I've only ever seen it on DVD and nowhere else.

Also, I managed to find the uncommon Australian 2000 "Dumb and Dumber" DVD on the side of the road that contains the deleted "little old lady" scene that is unique to this release for some reason. I managed to rip the open matte disc and upscaled it to HD and cropped it to 16:9 without much hassle.

I'd be happy to upload the entire film untouched from the DVD if anyone would want it.
Theatrical may be recreated from Unrated. I did it on DVD, but the latter is missing at least one shot from theatrical just before the Sea Bass first scene. That one must be taken from another source. Also there's song missing in Unrated before the scene in the bar where Mental is killed.

Thank you so much for proving to me I wasn't crazy. The "little old lady" scene has always been part of my childhood when watching the film. We'd capped the film off a Scandinavian satellite transmission onto VHS and it included the scene. So happy to see it be part of an official release.
I tried upscaling my PAL DVD and slowing it down and converting it to 23.976 to mix with the Blu-Ray. Obviously there are some issues as it looks too smooth and not the best. Anyone got an NTSC rip at all?

Turns out the theatrical cut is on Vudu as well as iTunes, although I have no experience with ripping anything from there, has anyone else done this? Seems like it'd be the best place to get it.

Both Dumb And Dumber and Zodiac theatrical versions are there on iTunes.
I've looked at that, and the only problem for me is that I have no way to remove the iTunes DRM. I'd be happy to rebuy the movie again, if someone was willing to remove the DRM.

There is some weirdly complicated way of removing the DRM, just google Requiem application, but it requires you to downgrade your iTunes to some ancient version, and I am not sure if this application would even work on anything higher than Windows 7. There are also some paid applications, like Tuneskit, that offer this option, but I don't know how reliable they are.
A 1080p amzn rip is on nzb's
I managed to get an Amazon rip of the Theatrical Cut, abiet with 2.0 audio. I'm assuming the 5.1 is only on the DVD or something like that.
