I got a 65" Hisense 4K TV at Walmart and hooked it up and i was noticed backlight during dark parts and it looks pretty horrible,
What's the best way to minimize the issue?

If it’s only noticeable with the lights off then a backlight will help - I used a Luminoodle one when I had an LCD at it worked very well
