2.0 Stereo Mix. Both L & R channel will contain different information & it will be discreet enough. For example - Dialouge, environmental sound. If the spectrogram of L & R channel is 1:1, I conclude it's a Dual Mono audio. That's my understanding so far.

But if it's not 1:1 & I couldn't hear any differance in the not identical part of L & R channels, then I am not sure? Specially if the BD advertises as a Mono 2.0 & the Spectro is not identical.
Here is an example - https://slow.pics/c/Y3vp9qJc . Here is an example of spectro of an Audio advertsied as Stereo Mix - https://slow.pics/c/iTilfeLX

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong & how you guys detect whether it's a Dual Mono or actual stereo. Thanks.
just invert the left channel and mix both channels together. if there's nothing left (or very little left) it's mono.

you can also use bronan's app:

I just play it through my home theater system with DPLII turned on. If it only comes out of the center speaker, it's 2.0 mono.
