Those are some very small pictures but still quite the color change vs the two. Looking good spoRv.

UPDATE! I received the only missing audio track - German DVD - from MrBrown (THANKS A LOT!); converted to proper speed and put in sync with the others. Italian DVD has some small sync problems - sometimes ahead, sometimes before - but it was too much for me; I asked Jerry to help me, and he kindly accepted, but I don't want to make him to work so much, so I decided to not solve this issue; but, as I was there, I managed to fill the holes - there were five or six throughout the whole film - replacing the blanks with the new acquired German track; also, the Signature Collection had a small gap, filled it as well. So, now, I would try to encode it using smaller vbv buffer and maxrate values - I think 30000 should do - to try to avoid spikes over 40mbps, so to stay inside BD compliance; tomorrow it should be all ready. BD: with menus or without? If without, tomorrow or the day after it will start to propagate; otherwise, I should give MultiAVCHD another chance, but in this case I need to build the intro, menus etc. and it will add few days...

UPDATE: setting the max bitrate at 30000 I got spikes at around 37mpbs... so I risked and set it to 32000, and I got just one spike nearly (but not over) 40mpbs! Now final, average bitrate is 23mbps, and DTS-HD MA was dropped and only the DTS core left, so the audio overall bitrate is under 8mbps.
So everything is ready, but there is only one, huge problem: the Spanish DTS track is corrupted, and, when selected, reproduction stops... I don't want to drop it, so I asked to few members if they can provide it, so I would be able to release it immediately after I have received. Stay tuned for the release date, is near - I hope!

FYI, Fran from Arrow Video (Guy who owns the label) has confirmed that they will be doing an all new 4K scan of The Thing for it's upcoing Blu-ray release.

As per Bigrob above Looks like from reports over on twitter the Arrow is going to be a new 4K and the results are going to be a massive improvement so a spoRv 3.0 sounds like it is going to have to be on the cards.

First, I'd like to release 2.0!
Still not found the Spanish 2.0 track, and I hate to leave a mere DD 1.0 96kbps as the only Spanish track, while all the others have at least a DD 2.0 192kbps, and a multichannel track... Need help!!! I could also think to add the isolated score (that is actually not that), or, better, the soundtrack - or, the soundtracks, as the old and new versions often sound quite different... of course, if someone could be interested in this!

I really would like to hear the Score. Such movie Soundtracks/Scores are often quite good for other purposes. Like, I am a gamer, I love Roleplaygames like Dungeons and Dragons and SciFi Games like Shadowrun, and movie scores and soundtracks often enough are great as background Musik while gaming.
