Was Red Dwarf on PBS?

Maybe someone can help me; I used to watch a sitcom years ago (I bet it was British); there were two men and a beautiful blonde girl with blue eyes, they share a flat and *maybe* one of the men has a strange behaviour IIRC like he never leaves home or something like this... I was pretty sure one of them was Rik Mayall, but I've checked on IMDB and it seems not to be there - most probably my memory mix all what I've seen until now, and there is a lot of stuff!
