Well hello there
#1
Hey all,

Stumbled onto this site whilst researching open matte features. Was very pleased to see a blog post I wrote regarding comparisons between grading and aspect for Terminator 2 was being discussed. Fantastic to find technical people putting together stuff, restoring and archiving stuff.

Big fan of Terminator 2, Aliens, Lost Boys, Labyrinth, Flight Of The Navigator and Tron. I have a handful of import laserdiscs and on the hunt for the ultimate UAR version of Terminator 2 (which I've seen a 2 minute version of by spoRv and was very impressed!).

Thanks for having me. Hopefully I can contribute with some of my knowledge.

Welcome- I've seen T2 on 35mm, and not that long ago. Where's your blog on it?

Yes I saw it at the Prince Charles Theatre on 35mm, and then again at the cinema for the 3D release. The big screen is where that movie belongs!

Hello! Also since we're talking about screenings of T2, I saw it back when it was converted to 3D also back last year.
