Should I color correct the DVD material to the HDTV version? I think it looks way more vivid and just better.

The HDTV is better, so I'd use it as main source, and the DVD to "patch source" to delogo the HDTV.
Also, take a look around, maybe there is a version less cropped - it happens quite often! |
