Congrats on your project. I recall one of the earliest drafts had someone (I presume Clarence) writing Natural Born Killers throughout the movie, so it kept cutting back and fourth between True Romance and Natural Born Killers, a bit like that extended version of Watchmen with the animated pirate story.

Yes, I believe that was the 1st draft Tarantino wrote with Roger Avary. I think it was the other way around. Mickey and Mallory were on the road pursuing the writer who adapted their story to Hollywood, and the guy was writing True Romance as a way to keep his sanity. It was completely crazy and a HUGE script, so they decided to break it into two scripts. Thanks given by: alleycat

Awesome project! I love this movie, but I have only seen the directors cut before. Might be time to check out theatrical cut soon!
