At the Moment I cannot check. Is it included in Prime, or would I need to rent it additional to Prime, if I would have US Prime? EDIT: Seems as if it is Prime included.
The US cut of Highlander is on Hollywood Suite's On-Demand Prime Video channel. Its definitely the US cut as the RT is shorter than the Euro cut and Fox is listed as the provider https://www.primevideo.com/detail/0KVQUK...et_ca_xx_s Any takers? I'm not in Canada and Prime Video are known to block VPNs and non region correct payments and infos.
Despite being a stinker of a movie, I do love how dedicated the fans are. And the SMB Archive website reminds me of the good old days of the web. I do own the BD and watched it last year and was tough to get through but I still have nostalgia for it. Must watch the extended version soon
I don't mind watching VHS rips at all but they went a little far in "restoring" some scenes with the filter and looks horrible in motion. Also is the aspect ratio wrong on the video? I think a 4:3 flag on the container is needed to correct it.
@PDB Yeah, the extended version is a better film, but it's still not a good film. The effort of the fans to find and restore this though is utterly incredible! They get my full respect
Well.. "new" PC starts getting set up... Still many applications not installed, but it makes a solid impression... 4th gen i7, 32GB Ram, GeForce gtx 980 Titan, 4TB HDD for data... 500gb hdd for system...
Tomorrow I get a new (used) PC. Then I'll see what data I can salvage from the old one. Hope HDD didn't got wrecked when the former PC died... I'll think I might getting it ready to go at the weekend.
No luck fixing it. Power supply is like an laptop one. So the small plug is on the Mainboard itself. And a new external power supply was tested.. So the problem is either on the mainboard..
I remember the time when Aladdin was supposed to be the unnecessary remake and that TLK would be unnecessary, but epic (At least the first teaser promised as much). While Aladdin was indeed unnecessary, it had its moments, but boy, was TLK straight up BAD...
Look at the comments under "Disney : Let's make these animals speak and sing but don't put any facial expression on them because we're gonna make it more realistic..."
Just finished watching From Dusk Till Dawn, the UK blu ray. Have to say the video wasn't very impressive but the audio sounded really bad. Muffled and quite, plus it looked out of sync at times. I thought it was something up with my setup at first but parts are in sync and parts seemed out. Anyone ever watched the LD and if so how did that sound? I've read about a 4k remaster but not sure if that is for UHD or streaming.
@pipefan413, nothing too serious for most users, but I can't correct the aspect ratio of anamorphic frames without also cropping them. Means I can't render and process any new frames until it's fixed. I haven't lost any files though so it's just a pause in my work rather than a catastrophe.
For anyone using Davinci Resolve I'd advise against upgrading to 17.1. If you do upgrade make sure you backup your database first. It's looking like I'll have to park my 35mm work until Black Magic fix some issues and release a new version.
