Jessica Falkholt taken off life support: https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/state/ns...pport-off/ Sound to me like Mr. Whitall should have been kept in gaol where he belonged for the safety of the community.

Then I would guess it's some form of copy protection, and the reason it only appears on one capture device is because the other one has a TBC (time base corrector) or something similar. This is a wild guess, but it is a possibility I think
@TomArrow @zoidberg Yes it's a prerecorded tape. I don't recall these showing up on a TV, but I can check again to make sure. The error does occur on other tapes, but it seems to vary from tape to tape.
@IcePrick that's interesting - do they show up on a TV? Like zoidberg said - if its a prerecorded videotape maybe it's that scrambly copy protection - does the error occur with other tapes?

@IcePrick I think it's something to do with the chroma subcarrier. Is this a prerecorded videotape?
@TomArrow These errors are consistently present with varying intensity. The weird thing is, they only show up on one of my capture devices but not the other.
And IF anyone would have that precious item of desire, it would be wise to consider Jetrell Fo hint...
But to answer your question: IF anyone would have said workprint, there would be any hints regarding that in any of the Terminator 2 discussions. So I assuming the answer is: No one has said T2 Version.
https://forum.fanres.com/forum-5.html Maybe introducing yourself before you start asking for things would be a good idea. There is a basic etiquette here and we like to keep that going. Welcome to the site xchulilt, I hope you enjoy your stay.
Yeah I don't remember seeing that kind of chroma errors, other than maybe in single frames when there was some tape problem or when I recorded something over something else. Is it a constant error? Maybe your VHS player has some badly aligned or dirty heads or something that cause this issue (I'm not an expert). Either way, I think digitally filtering it may be difficult or more effort than its worth
I'm not talking about the interlacing. I'm talking about the chroma noise (or what ever kind of noise that is). Sorry for not making myself clear.
@ IcePrick -- it's a standard interlaced image (see the separate EVEN and ODD fields - https://s10.postimg.cc/43o0nvb4p/interla...fields.gif). Just de-interlace the video from 30 fps to 24 fps.
Hey! Someone's got The Godfather in 35mm for sale! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/35MM-FEATURE-...SwYxBaN8jl
What is the best way to remove artifacts like this from VHS captures? http://images2.imagebam.com/01/b9/ff/359...245783.png (Look at the sky and the sides of the road).
yes bud, exactly to the first part and yes you could do the second as well but one of the other benefits of seedboxes is that there would be nowhere near as much upload/download traffic off your personal line
So the seedbox hosts the files and you DL it from the seedbox? I suppose another option would be to have a low power rig at home purely for seeding 24/7
And you wonder why I don't always agree with the way you handle things even though I have NO issue with you.
Anyone trying to tell you that I did that would be a liar. My email address is the same one I used for Blurg and the same one I use here.
Jetrell Fo use a better email next time if your trying to make duplicate trolling accounts
What a movie sunday alone with the kids: SyFy just gave me a triple feature with Spaceballs, Men in Black and Total Recall in beautiful grainy fullscreen, now TNT is rounding it up with The Untouchables, followed by Schindlers List, Platoon and Departed. Capping them all...
@Jetrell Fo: I found the "i" in TEAM.. https://i.imgur.com/XRrbi3P.png (before anyone asks: that's a joke I pull very often, when someone uses this proverb, and it is certainly NOT directed regarding ANY user of this forum.)
@Commodore, the only solution is for you to take the hit and keep seeding there, the rules just don't offer regular users much room unless you are higher on the food chain. If I was still a member I'd toss some of my BON your way to help you out. EClara helped me out and I would just give BON to others who might need it to stay afloat. There is no "I" in team, ya know. LOL
It's not your problem to solve good sir. Being involved in the dialogue is more than enough.
@OogieBoogie. Yes bud i understand. it makes sense for these rules to be implimented It just leaves people like myself behind. I'll honor my commitment to the rules but it might mean me having to go without because of my curcumstances. Thank you for joining the conversation there.
like i said to sporv here, i have their harry potter fanres for a long time, i seed for months and years, but not everyone is like me and there arent enough of us to keep everything going, so things get lost unless you implement tougher systems
i think i've already seen it bud. i do get where you are coming from just from the start everything we have implemented has been with one goal, long term torrent retention, using both prevention and cure methods to try and help things along. honestly, what is the point of another site that cant keep anything seeded?
@FrankT and OogieBoogie. Ive just posted a topic https://blutopia.xyz/community/topic/hit...estion.904 if you would both like to contribute
urgh, yeah, well download 4, hnr on 4 will get you banned just about everywhere bud
the rules arent hard there, seed anything you grab for 7 days, not much more to it than that
last year they dropped the price of the hp bd boxsets, now we have the UHD, they just dropped the price on LOTR boxsets, i can get the theatrical trilogy for 8 quid from amazon atm
and if what happened last year is anything to go by, we may be seeing UHD's of LOTR's from Warner at the end of the year
think it makes sense, must admit i am mighty tempted to dip into UHD, they have some stuff I love now, 13 Hours, Harry Potter, Lone Survivor and Serenity
i asked at blu, but that is the right test, if they have compliant hardware and it fails the same way both times, my guess is the source is buggared
just some feedback elsewhere, seems like they tried all 8 and 6 work, those 2 no, he's redownloading them again in case the error is that side
sporv, just in case you are planning on dling the UHD versions of HP, there's a possibility that Azkaban and Goblet of Fire could both have broken audio/DTS X
@Valeyard: interesting info! I wonder, does avisynth average the colors in the right way? (put the "thinking" emoticon here, we need it!!!)
My fullest approval! The only (good) difference I see before the pre-Disney era is that good old Lucas wasn't afraid to tell new stories.
RooBee: no offense taken any wise... it is more like that I also feel not so well with Disney taking the universe, but I also always assume that it even could be worse. The bad thing somehow is that Star Wars evolved from three great movies into a marketing franchise, but that is not Disney's fault, they just jumped the already running train... Star Wars was some marketing franchise already before Disney.
Brown, I was just kidding. Speaking for myself, as a huge Star Wars fan I was disappointed by the way Disney did went with the franchise. Nonetheless the fanfare will give you goosebumpfs and I hope you enjoy the rest of the movie as well
My first set of editing laptop picks is up in the General Discussions section. BTW spoiler alert: the reason why I picked the Razer Blade Pro as my ideal god-tier editing laptop can be summed up in three words: THX.
I believe most thing why I really want to see it theatrically, is because of the iconic Star Wars Music with the crawl at the beginning...

Especially watching him lift his thumb to bring down the lightening ... it was epic.
His whole exchange with Luke literally brought me to tears (one of many times in the movie that did)
The film isn't even saying that (as killing the past is reckless and prevents learning). It's saying have respect, but not be so slavish that you don't see the flaws and failures for what came before. Don't let it bind you to a destiny, and take what inspiration you can.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbHUJEH-ERI This is pretty much how I see The Last Jedi.
I know they sound similar to you, but I actually love this band. They'll be releasing a remaster of their Heavy Horses in February, that's why the memory is so fresh
