think it makes sense, must admit i am mighty tempted to dip into UHD, they have some stuff I love now, 13 Hours, Harry Potter, Lone Survivor and Serenity
Shoutbox archive
i asked at blu, but that is the right test, if they have compliant hardware and it fails the same way both times, my guess is the source is buggared
just some feedback elsewhere, seems like they tried all 8 and 6 work, those 2 no, he's redownloading them again in case the error is that side
sporv, just in case you are planning on dling the UHD versions of HP, there's a possibility that Azkaban and Goblet of Fire could both have broken audio/DTS X

@Valeyard: interesting info! I wonder, does avisynth average the colors in the right way? (put the "thinking" emoticon here, we need it!!!)

My fullest approval! The only (good) difference I see before the pre-Disney era is that good old Lucas wasn't afraid to tell new stories.

RooBee: no offense taken any wise...
it is more like that I also feel not so well with Disney taking the universe, but I also always assume that it even could be worse. The bad thing somehow is that Star Wars evolved from three great movies into a marketing franchise, but that is not Disney's fault, they just jumped the already running train... Star Wars was some marketing franchise already before Disney.

Brown, I was just kidding. Speaking for myself, as a huge Star Wars fan I was disappointed by the way Disney did went with the franchise. Nonetheless the fanfare will give you goosebumpfs and I hope you enjoy the rest of the movie as well

My first set of editing laptop picks is up in the General Discussions section. BTW spoiler alert: the reason why I picked the Razer Blade Pro as my ideal god-tier editing laptop can be summed up in three words: THX.

I believe most thing why I really want to see it theatrically, is because of the iconic Star Wars Music with the crawl at the beginning...

Especially watching him lift his thumb to bring down the lightening ... it was epic.
His whole exchange with Luke literally brought me to tears (one of many times in the movie that did)
The film isn't even saying that (as killing the past is reckless and prevents learning). It's saying have respect, but not be so slavish that you don't see the flaws and failures for what came before. Don't let it bind you to a destiny, and take what inspiration you can.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbHUJEH-ERI This is pretty much how I see The Last Jedi.

To the ones who's living in the past: I live in the future, I live in the year 2018... hope to see you soon here

Happy New Years to everybody ... be safe and have fun if you're celebrating.

I was perfectly okay talking in the thread but then nobody here would see how proud Oogie is about how he made me pay a price about blowing off steam. That is why he posted it in chat and not the thread. He's looking to be congratulated for striking down the evil me, lol.

I hope your pleasure pie was worth it. Now maybe they'll see your worth and promote you to admin for such a wasted burn.

For the record, you cannot say something behind someone's back when your option to respond personally has been taken away, for no good reason. You actually could have posted in the thread you gleaned the info from instead of posting here.

Well then, I guess I owe you a hearty thank you for adding your two cents, Thanks Oogie. So kind of you to help me out.
okay jetrell, i cant respond to your pm as you have me on an ignore list, so you basically only leave me here, yes I did tell Vinnie what you said here, you said it behind their back and openly doing what you do. you do have the right to say what you want to say, but understand that there is no such thing as free speech, everything has a cost, one i made sure you paid, I hope that was clear enough for you. Have a Happy New Year
So I've a rip of the Star Trek TMP SLV japanese laserdisc that includes the PCM audio track. Also have a rip of Koyaanisqatsi's LD track. Whats the preferred upload place?

Happy reading - and, happy writing... this would be a loooong story, I'm pretty sure!

Frankenstein audio reconstruction will be the first update I will post witin the next few days.... First, I need to read through two months of new posts, lol

Happy New Year to all! C u all again on a daily basis starting today... Look forward to catching up with all of you

Question for Aussies and Star Wars enthusiasts, I was reading this Wikipedia article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinema_Int...orporation (partially taking it with a grain of salt) and saw that CIC had a joint venture with 20th Century Fox and Buena Vista/Disney back in the 70s. If this is true, I wonder if anyone saw Aussie prints of Star Wars having the CIC logo before the memorable Fox/Lucasfilm tag?

It's a collector's forum, their rules. I'm not sure how it would be bad for collectors. Anyway you don't have to post anything and then no one will ever know who you are haha.

Well I did end up using my real name, but I think it's irresponsible towards the users. Why should some random people on the internet know my identity? I see why a seller needs to know who I am, to send the package, but there's no reasonable need to expose who I am in general. Even if they wanted to identify who I am, they could make a separate name field besides the display name

@TomArrow why does that seem wrong? If you use an alias and they find out (which will probably happen the first time you use PayPal to buy a print) you will get kicked off the forum. Ebay is different, you can have as many ebay accounts as you like one for each day of the week if you want.

OPEN registrations at Blutopia until new year. If you want an account sign up now!

How about something close but ironic, like ... Thomas Shaft ... (with your theme song --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFvRvSxsW-I )

That's kinda ridiculous. Even eBay allows you to use a nickname. Besides, I hate my real name.

They do actually. It is due to the fact that collector's offer trades and sales and keeping an eye on these is easier and safer if people know who you really are.

@ TomArrow "Do they really expect you to use your actual real name on that forum?" -- Even my actual name doesn't work for them. What, they're too good for BronzeTitan? (Hmmpf! Where's my sword?)

Do they really expect you to use your actual real name on that forum? That seems kinda wrong
