No jonno, you're not. I expressed the same excitement when I saw the listing. 
I can't be the only one who actually enjoys Trek V - a film scan would have been terrific. Here's hoping we have the whole set one day.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the process varied depending on the negative as well. Super35 was quite popular but that didn't allow for contact-printing in all generations through to release print, whereas filming at the native size of the eventual release print (with sountrack) did.
Yeah IB prints are not made using photographic dyes, but regular "prints" are.

Cool video, Valeyard. I wasn't aware prints were actally printed. I somehow had this idea in my head that they were exposing each print separately and then developing it.
I would be willing to donate to such a project .... like it's any secret that I love Star Trek. LOL

Well then how come you make a point to say to me you dislike coming here because of drama but you're okay with the drama as it happens there? People on all sorts of forums talk about stuff like this. I wasn't mean. I didn't say nasty things. I can't have an opinion on it because you're here? Or is it that you honestly feel bad about some decisions there and don't like being reminded of them once in a while here because underneath your moderator title you're actually a genuinely caring person stuck between a rock and a hard place?
I'm not asking anyone to walk on eggshells, or resign. I just don't see how dredging OT drama up here benefits this forum.
If it helps, I hope it's only temporary for DE, he is one of the better site members there even if he can be a handful sometimes.
You cannot blame your work drama on me or this site. If I have to walk around on eggshells here because members of OT are members here I will resign my account immediately. Besides, how would you like a banning from OT to follow you everywhere you go? You also give yourself too little credit. I'd say you probably turned it down because you are a decent person and were not interested in a conflict of interest.
Tougher skin has nothing to do with it. (And I never said that to you.) How would you like workplace drama to follow you around everywhere you go? I declined a moderator position here because I thought it would be too much stress.

I too have a few invites stashed for the spleen. I usually invite those who ask for an invite. Only fair since I got a random invite after asking for one on the OT (In it's prime)
I have stashed invites on Spleen. But the problem is since I only have so many I'd feel bad having to choose who to invite.
They've got some pricky staff there and they do what they like even if their rules say otherwise. Reminds me of a place I got banned from not so long ago.
