There is also from 1989 I think a stereo track that is basically the mono mix only in stereo. Help us save our cultural legacy! Preserv those!
Not the late LDs from 1995 which were remixed already, the early ones from the 80's
That mix do not exist on DVD or Blu-ray. It's exclusive to the LDs, be them Pan&Scan or widescreen
Not sure I asked this before, but I'm still looking for an audio rip of Dirty Harry Laserdisc that would include the original english mono mix. Anyone?
On these markers, I'm also noting the approximate place, rounded to the nearest logical 5 or 10 in terms of seconds, where the scene each clip comes from begins.
As I progress, I'm placing markers in a specified Notepad document in case I lose my place for whatever reason.
Well, I finally got work started on the rough cut for my restoration of the video trailer for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Masterpiece edition). New estimate for release of the rough cut at the rate things are going (I've been a bit too busy with other things lately): sometime in the next week or two.

Plus that way you would have much more viral exposure as these days, you need to do something forbidden and transgressive to get noticed.

It seems too contemporary ... like the corporate comedy-group works up a New York comedy and the boss says, "Been there, done that, a boring flop". Then the group manager jumps in. I think The Orville is just another comedy in a Star Trek-esque universe like Galaxy Quest, and it seems funny as well!

What's the catch? (Note that I tend to avoid torrenting sites like the plague, personally.)
A quick search with that file name brought it up, and more, at various sharing sites. There are quite a few grain variations available, of [I'm guessing] lossless video files [200MB each] to merge into your footage: fine, course, clean, dirt, hair, flicker, etc.
There is a big free grainplate pack available some where but I don't remember where, with Kodak grainplates which look very good too.
I don't remember the source, as I downloaded it years ago, but I am using something with filename of "07-COARSE_CLEAN.mov"
You should propably find just grainplate that fits you, there are plenty available online. Most of them are in 1080p/2160p, i'd Spline36Resize it do video resolution and then overlay.
Supposing the grain plate I want (as a general rule, same stock as used for the film being restored) isn't available at the size I want, what settings would you recommend for the GrainFactory3 plugin?
