It's definitely interlaced, but it's not straight 2:2 like most 50i PAL sources

Mhm... I don't know every T2 LD in my Collection... Maybe I already got that...
I think it was the final Laserdisc release (in the US) before DVD, doesn't pop up very often
I do not know, if I have that LD... I think I have more of the old T1 LDs and fewer T2 LDs...
It also has the TriStar Logo before the Carolco Logo. Just wondered if maybe the AC3 had a bit more oomph compared to the DVD. I'll put a bid in if the price doesn't get daft
There's a T2 Laserdisc with AC3 (Live video) on fleabay, is definitely the same track as the DVD?

Sony in general has been finally licensing to smaller labels titles that basically they can't be bothered to release themselves

You can't convert to 3D AND leave untouched. But they can leave the 2D version untouched if they want to.
So T2 is coming in 3D... Okay... Buuuut will their be a restored/remastered version untouched of any tweaking? I doubt that

just an FYI, someone has been capping Laserdiscs and uploading them over at rutracker.org. Couple i saw were The Terminator (Image LD), Commando and The Fly. all are fullscreen and have English Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks included. fiel sizes vary (Commando was 3.5GB)
