the only bad thing of that boxset (I hear) is that the compression used sucks and defeat the point of a 4K scan. I don't know about the actual 4K but the regular blu ray version was afflicted by a lot of DNR that comes and goes

'TV' for T2 was meant to be TC for Theatrical Cut. Was the first UK home release containing the uncensored Theatrical Version. Got the BBFC 18 rating...
Only one German LD arrived, yet. I don't think it is a 35 mm scanned, because it is from a bigger company..."Alien" Silver Screen release...
So, at least the French John Woo LD Box with Hard Boiled and Bullet in the Head arrived. I am a bit anxious, because running time for Bullet is stated as 132 min on the Backside... to bad I neither understand the original language, not french ...

You can always tell kids Laserdiscs are those shiny things in the alley scene in BTFF 2. 
Was sad when I had to explain what a record was to a UPS employee just trying to find a box to ship Laserdiscs in.

I missed it on TV, I was too busy switching channels between Predator 2 and Star Wars. What a night for Italian TV yesterday!
Not that bad at all... of course, not at the same level of the original movies, but there are a lot of car chases and funny gags, so... it is "watchable"

Maybe there was such a set overseas? Resurrection was fullscreen on the late unlamented DIVX DVD, but the format was dead before any of the other movies came out on it.

Don't think it's mixed-AR or anything - looks to be straight 2.35 - it's a sub, and alien dialogue has both the English theatrical subs and Japanese subs. I'll upload it but I don't think it'll be of any use.
The alien speech is double-subbed - English in the usual place, and Japanese on the right

I would have bought silica gel from cat litter but the bags were too big and I was travelling abroad, rice had to do. I'm planning to leave it there for 2-3 days then try turn it on. I'm not gonna eat the rice don't worry ahah
@FrankT Rice is supposed absorb moisture from electronic equipment such as phones.
Guys, if you don't see me around much it's because my phone dropped into water and I don't know yet if it's gonna resurrect after three days of being submerged into the rice. We will see
