Does anyone know, how the englisch LPCM Stereo Audio on the Italian "The Crow" BD compares to the 5.1 DTS Mix on the US BD?
The Korean Disc just arrived today. Reading the infos on caps-a-holic.com, it seems to feature the same 2.0 audio stream, as the MGM US BD, Dolby Digital 224kbps...
@Evit: Maybe I get it next week from an eBay seller from UK... If the postal service don't lose it...
Not perfect, but just thought I'd point it out since the Mindbending one is usually $30, and now it's $5. But people would think at first glance that it's the crappier restoration being sold for $5 based on the cover.
Well, it's a stupid name for sure. It's a better transfer than the previous release and has some extra bonus features.
and.. what is the mind bending thing about that mindbending edition? remastered?
the disc inside still says Mind Bending Edition, though the cover makes it look more like the earlier BD release.
Interesting note: for anyone who is for whatever reason looking to buy the Total Recall "Mind Bending Edition" blu-ray, they've rebranded it as just 'Total Recall' in the last month or two, and it's now $5 instead of $30.
For those interested, HDNet is showing Star Trek TMP, TWOK, TSFS, and TFF this morning. I don't know if anyone can capture them or not. TMP started @ 6:00am.
Joker: "That wasn't easy to get over and don't think I didnt try!" Batman: "I know you did!" Yep definitely sounds like fans vs Lucas
We love George Lucase! We hate George Lucas! -- We've made him what he is today. But he's made us what we are today. -- BATMAN: "I'm going to kill you!" JOKER: "You idiot! You made me. You dropped me into that vat of chemicals." BATMAN: "You killed my parents." JOKER: "Hey, I was a kid when I killed your parents." BATMAN: "I made you? You made me first."
Phew.. losing about 8 kilo in one year doesn't help finding a suit in my wardrobe to go to a friends wedding... it makes it more difficult...

Same here. But the arrogance of some of the people there gets old after a while
But keep in touch. Let me know when DeEd Empire 2.5 comes out. Or the SSE BD. Or THX, or 2001.
Fans will be fans. One thing about them is theyre always different even if it pertains to the same thing. Some respect the work and the artists while some just feel that their dedication to the work makes them entitled to something. Speaking for myself I wouldnt know what kind of fan to call myself. On one hand I love SW and respect George Lucas for creating it. On one hand I still find it unfortunate he didn't want the original cuts to exist anymore because to me thats rewriting history which is wrong no matter who were talking about. However I refuse to be the kind of fan who says 'Lucas raped my childhood'. Thats just arrogant and disgusting. As far as Daisy Ridley goes I love her and think she will carry the next couple films very well!
We failed in our existence when we were cursed with the technology to invent such horrible mind-rotting catastrophes! The Star Wars Special Editions! The Disney Blu-rays! We were better off in the analogue days! I wish we were still using video tapes and proper film!
I watch ALL versions of Star Wars to this day. I LOVE my Laserdisc versions best but I don't let what the fandom says about any of them ruin it for me. I cannot control the fans, George Lucas, or Disney but I can control what I own and enjoy.

Regarding George Lucas: Well, I honestly have to say that I dislike Episodes 1 to 3 that greatly, that I am not unhappy with him not being involved in Episode 7. I really like Ep. 7 (and never would have judged the fact that one of the the leading roles is a female one), but that is just my personal opinion, I really can understand different ones.. well except the one that it is a bad thing that Daisy Ridley is a woman...
Regarding Jake Lloyd: It is a sad thing that many people cannot distinguish between an actor, and the role they play in a movie/series. Exspecially with child actor's that attitude is greatly dangerous...
They're ungrateful jerks! They turned Jake Lloyd into a schizophrenic, and they drove George away from Star Wars! And they bash Daisy Ridley for being a woman! They inspire active anger and pain in me, which is why I'm so misanthropic!
Sometimes "fans" are fans, sometimes they are hooligans... seems to be not a "sports fan only" phenomena...
And that's not even mentioning the fascist scum of the universe taking over. I'm beginning to think this guy I know was right - Lucas didn't ruin Star Wars, the fans did.
Yeah some users were getting vulgar. It started when someone was arguing how CGI is more 'real' compared to practical or something, then he called someone a retard, and it just went downhill from there. The thread was locked at one point. And yes adywan at one point said he was leaving but hopefully he'll return.
I was there too FrankT. Just a lot of drama on that site yet Ive had no problem on this site thus far. Everyone seems nice
Ah. In that case a dark day indeed.... which means night. It's night then. And problems are for people in tomorrow.
*drunk one evening 25 years from now* Dude, what if I put the cat in the DNA player?! *giggling and general jackassery* *3 minutes later* TV:"Bow before your MAAARHSTER" Friend: "I don't want to do this anymore. This got too real too fast."
Technicolor Uses DNA to Archive Movies http://www.avsforum.com/technicolor-uses...ve-movies/
Let me answer that with the Fist of Jesus! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuKV2Z3eYTY
"You're tuned to K-Billy's Super Sounds of the 70s. That was Blue Swede with their defining musical release "Hooked On a Feeling". Our velvet sweat playlist doesn't stop until the vinyl melts. And we now continue with a top of the heap hit "I gotcha" by Joe Tex"
*radio sounding through the room* "K-Billy's Super Sounds of the '70s continues, and if you're the twelfth caller, you'll win two tickets to the Monster Truck Extravaganza being held tonight at the Carson Fairgrounds, featuring Big Daddy Don Bodine's truck The Behemoth."
*radio kicks in* "That was The Partridge Family's "Doesn't Somebody Want to be Wanted?", followed by Edison Lighthouse's "Love Grows where my Rosemary Goes" as K-Billy's Super Sounds of the 70's weekend just keeps on... truckin'. "
I am curious if anyone has some other insanity from outer space... I think there are plenty weird movies...
