I feel that the final Kino version will come very close to the U Matic version which itself was based on an old IB Tech straight transfer. This is going to kick some serious bottom!

Robert Harris: "If you don't mind losing shadow detail, I believe this is the best the film has looked on home video.
The Blu-ray seems to track the 4k nicely. Grain is appropriate for 2-perf." Highdefdigest - This 1080p disc is a bit noisier in the grain department and black levels aren't quite as strong. ¡O'lé! THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY 4K UHD Review (Kino Lorber Studio Classics)

No one’s gone into the 1080p disc yet those are caps of the old 2017 Kino Blu.
Cant wait for mine to get here I’m on pins and needles...and the typical YouTube reviews since Blu-ray.com is down are absolutely no help whatsoever....be prepared I’ll be doing a full blown Leone nerd review even though I’m limited to 1080p. I’ve been planning one on the quartet complete score release anyway.

Oh I'm getting the cuts mixed up!
I really do need to pick up a 4K player. |
