I can't say for certain if it's been remixed at all, but it's a Dolby Surround mix, so stereo that can be unfolded to multiple channels which was common in cinemas at the time.
Most people I see talking about this film on laserdisc are commenting on the AC3 and DTS tracks (this is the AC3 version) which are apparently more accurate than the first DVD.

Wasn't it a common practice to get the original theatrical mixes on LD as is, before they started to do remixes for DVD?

Generally, but I don't know at what point they started to alter mixes for home video.

		Hi,
is this the same as on the japanese superbit dvd (5.1dts)? I have all 3 movies in this superbit release. I can share if someone wants them.

Has someone already tried syncing this to the Blu-ray release?
If not, I’d be happy to give it a try.

Looks like the movie was released in DTS-Stereo (along with the 5.1 DTS), so the LD stereo surround mix might as well be the direct port of the cinema surround mix.

Started syncing this with the 4k blu-ray. I'm almost half way through the movie so far, expect a v1 release possibly next week.
