After reading @Turisu's excellent thread on Jurassic Park mixes, I decided I wanted to throw my hat in the ring and make what I believe to be the definitive version of this historic audio mix.
Using a bit-perfect capture of the DTS Laserdisc done by a good friend of mine, I correctly attenuated the surround channels to -3db and tried my best to match the LFE to the R6 DVD (though in execution I think I got it closer to the V1 R1 DTS DVD but according to Turisu both are more or less correct). In addition I synced this fixed track to the 2025 UHD from the Trilogy set as it currently has the best PQ, No idea if it'll sync to the previous UHD since there's a 16 frame difference between the two but knowing Universal it might just need a delay. Available in 24-bit 44.1kHz FLAC 5.1, to all forum members new and old.
Interesting Note: For my syncs, I typically use the latest mix of a film available on the source I'm syncing it to, In this case the DD 5.1 backup track on the Trilogy UHD. However during my syncing process I quickly noticed that the dialogue was out of sync with the DTS LD track while the music & effects were in perfect sync with each other. It seems the new Dolby Atmos mix has offset dialogue when compared to previous mixes as not even the DTS:X track from the previous UHD had this quirk.
