Looking for the "right" Alien Resurrection color grading...

These are the only scenes that I can be certain they are from 35mm

For few days after the broadcast you can find movies on Raiplay.it (now asks also for a free registration...) - run, as Alien 3 is just disappeared, and if you want this, you should watch it ASAP.

Back on topic: yes, confirmed, Italian opening and closing credits.

EDIT: you beat me, Evit! Big Grin

Alien3 was entirely from US master. No luck there. Alien and Aliens were from Italian masters but only for the credits which are all "in space", so there's not really much help from those if we are looking at color grading. Alien Resurrection on the other hand shows a lot of stuff.

Quick comparison with previously posted material (obviously not the same frame)

Italian TV broadcast / LD / BD

Well, if we take for granted that Rai4 part from 35mm was properly scanned, it seems definitely not so pinkish like BD, still not yellowish and contrast-y like Fundamental (LD); but, as the LD master was *supposedly* from a Silver Retention print, the variation could be due to this...

Could you do a comparison with the same frames I posted? It would be interesting to see them side by side

May you post a list of frame numbers for that? Or, better, provide the clip you have recorded, so I can make a direct triple comparison? The Rai4 online source is too compressed - I know that broadcasting quality is higher.
