There is an independent cinema in London called The Prince Charles Cinema who show loads of 35mm prints and since next year is it's 20th Anniversary, i'm hoping they will show it (I'll drag Jonno along with me as well lol).

I would be well up for that!

You'll have to add me to the 'no memory of that' list. I saw it a fair few times on release: I went to the Empire Leicester Square at its pre-digital peak, and as I was working at a cinema at the time I must have clocked up a number of partial viewings.

It would surprise me if that were true, though - there should be some evidence somewhere (and, as others have said, that sort of thing would certainly have made an impression on me at the time!)

Only place to find evidence would be to find a bootleg copy of it

That's a good find, at a cheap price. It's a crap shoot either way, but I'd say go for it as if it turns out to be nothing then you can just resell itWink

Anybody based in the US able to pick this up?
As Bigrob pointed out the shipping cost is not worth it for us in the UK.

So I am in Oregon and the tape is in Los Angeles... The price of the tape is $6 US and with the "Economy Delivery" the total price would be $6 because that shipping type is free to me. That being said, if someone wants to Paypal me the $6 plus the shipping cost of the tape to them (which I'm sure will be less than via ebay) then give me a shout. OR since the tape will be NTSC format, if the tape needs to be shipped to someone here in the US to be captured, then we can do that too (I don't have the equipment anymore, otherwise I'd offer to do it)

Anyway, if this helps and anyone wants to give it a go, let me knowWink

Ive asked Doombot to pick it up for me.
Let's wait and see if it turns out to be anything.
Fingers crossed it's an early telecine before the home video masters we're created.

The things I do sometimes lol

Well it will be nice to see whether fifth element has a yellow cast to it. Some transfers have done don't. The tape might help prove which way it should be.

Has anyone seen this on eBay yet?

Slightly off topic, apologies. I doubt you're going to find extra footage in there   Tongue
