Actually I might've found some 1080p encodes on private tracker, will update if that's sourced from PL BD.

RE6 - I feel its color grading could be improved; after watching some camrips, I tried two regrades that remind them quite well.

RE2 - AAP-AR tested using two sources (HDTV and DVD); sadly the open matte BD suffers from some interlacing problems (as written here) so for the moment I'm using HDTV (until/unless I can solve BD problems); result is very good indeed; have not BD yet ready, and I'm pretty sure it should add some parts on both sides.

RE4 open matte, there are two versions:
  • HDTV/WEB, with the first five minutes (opening credits) letterboxed BUT with a tiny amount of image more than BD on bottom, while less on top; effective open matte shots are limited to subsequent 1m15s shots, Alice video diary, satellite computer images (not all), "help us" on the roof, and maybe something more, still comparing - the rest of the movie is cropped (only on both sides in the first half of the movie, also on top in the second half)
  • the arab HDTV recording (unavailable) is the same, but it has also the opening credits in open matte
EDIT: a comparison of one of the few open matte shot; DVD has been regraded as WEB

The AAP-AR would be of course partial, retaining the OAR for most part of the movie; maybe the AAP-AR parts would be around two minutes (seven, in the remote chance a new HDTV recording would appear); the YAO hack will be used to mask the top and bottom slices.
