[Idea] Best of the Land Before Time

For this project, I'm planning on doing a restoration of The Land Before Time and its first four sequels. Everything will be done in HD, and I plan to restore as much footage to the first film as possible, using techniques similar to what was employed for restorations of A Star Is Born, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and Superman II.

This five-disc restoration, for Blu-ray and DVD, will consist of the following films:

• The Land Before Time: Extended Edition
  
• The Land Before Time II: The Great Valley Adventure
  
• The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving
  
• The Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists
  
• The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island

do you mean you have access to the Extended Edition? If so, please write here everything about this!

I mean to say I will restore as much footage as possible, in the best possible quality, from extant materials. Note that I didn't say "Uncut", "Uncensored", or "Director's Cut", as all three would imply I would have everything necessary to restore the film to the way Don Bluth intended.

Well, "extended edition" imply additional footage not included in the theatrical cut, right?

I wonder, where would you take this footage? Trailers, making-of?

Awesome, I was just recently thinking about doing iTunes rips of the 1080p versions of the sequels, as only the first part was released on Blu. Will you be using iTunes WEB-DLs as main sources? (aside from part 1 obviously)

That, I'm not entirely sure about. I'll have to look into immediate availability as far as my resources are concerned.

I can get II and III from a tracker in 1080p, but the tracker is currently offline. In fact I had them already loaded into my client before I read this thread. If you want I'll give them to you as soon as I have them (assuming they have seeders, which is hard to tell with the tracker down).

Sadly the only other one it has is XII in 720p.

V is not available on iTunes, at least it's not listed on blu-ray.com (but maybe they just failed to list it).
