[Idea] Avidemux - easy method to slow 25fps footage back to 24, and vice versa
#11
^ That's because slowing down such content results in a stream that still reads nominally as interlaced.

I forgot to also mention that when using TSmuxer (and some of the other tools you guys use) to slow 25fps footage back to 24, it doesn't change the 50i upper and bottom fields and convert to progressive. This means you will get an 23.976 i stream that displays progressive without scanlines (as a 1080i 25fps file would despite being interlaced, but that's another discussion), however some players will ether have judder issues with the mux converted files in question or not play back at all.

Avidmux as far as I can tell, converts to the correct progressive format (24p and 25p) when speeding up or down, which serves as another advantage over TSmuxer and the others.
