Hi everyone! I found you because I unwittingly bought a Teamblu bootleg from eBay (Jason Goes To Hell Unrated) which was literally unavailable anywhere else on blu ray - of course, I now know that it was a fan creation. After the dodgy disc arrived it was clear from the packaging and print job (and tobacco smell) that it had been cheaply run off in some dude's house.

The quality of the actual content was amazing though so I did some research and discovered this whole new world of fan creations. I had vaguely heard of people making their own Star Trek fan films but I had no idea that so much work on such relatively obscure movies such as Friday the 13th part 9 had happened.

I've found a lot these past months - from restorations to full new edits of movies, and there's a lot more I have yet to watch but I just wanted to say that after finding this site I've thoroughly enjoyed reading about all your work. It's also a really nice atmosphere here, and there's a lot of passionate and talented people posting here. I always look forward to checking back.

I might not have much to contribute but I just wanted to let you know how happy I am to have found you!

Probably you refer to Star Wars, even if we have Star Trek fans here! Big Grin

Nope, I definitely mean Trek! I saw a fan film on youtube years ago and although it wasn't particularly good they'd managed to get Nichelle Nichols and Walter Koenig to be in it, IIRC.

I had no idea fans were doing the work that I've recently discovered though. Thanks for the welcomes guys.
