list of web tools that cares about privacy
#1
Have you noticed that lately all websites ask (finally) to accept their cookies? Well, I discovered that, even if many allow you to NOT accept some intrusions in your privacy (like ads), others says, basically "accept (what?) or you can't view our content"!

So, time to start to use tools better suited to protect your (our) privacy - well, if you can always trust them! Wink

Browser:
brave

Internet search:
duckduckgo
google (via startpage)

Social Network:
mewe

Chat:
threema
signal

Video:
vimeo
youtube & others (via duckduckgo)

Email:
protonmail

File transfer:
wetransfer

Maps:
openstreetmap

VPN:
protonvpn

Please help with other tools; the more, the better!

Haven't checked out Brave (I will now!), but Tor is a privacy-focused browser too.

Firefox is much better than Brave IMHO, and remember that Brave is built on the monopolistic Blink engine.

I'm trying Brave since a week, and it is quite nice; dunno if it has plugins, thpugh...

I switched to startpage as well, and the only thing I miss from google is the translation.
