I'm trying to find the most complete version of Bullet in the head with english subtitles. The dvd I have is only about 125 mintues long. Which release is the most complete and where can I find it? Also is the Fortune Star Blu-Ray any good?

Hi John J., There was a complete version on VCD that I think was ported to DVD in circles. Hardcoded subs, just like the original prints.

The BluRay is not good.
Do you have a PAL or NTSC DVD?
In PAL the running time for the normal avaible version is about 125 minutes.
There was a Hong Kong DVD from fortune star some years ago, that contained some inserted additional scenes, so it was about 5 minutes longer than the normal avaible version. But the scenes were bad quality.

AFAIK there is no other official DVD release containing an extended version.

This one's video history still confuses me plus you have the different endings. The ntsc LD is cut in places IIRC and the most overall okay release I think is the old fortune star dvd but it isn't perfect either.

i have 2 different versions the chinese extended version running 2:15 and the Bullet in the Head Festival Screener running time 2:15 also
