Is it possible to match lighting/filters between sources?
#1
Hello,

Concurrent with my revision of my previous 'Supercop' project, I'm lending some support to colour correcting a restoration that a friend is working on. I'm curious to know if when working  with a composite of sources (HD and SD source), is it possible to match the lighting using a program or script? Each source is coloured and filtered differently, including lighting. I can provide screenshots if necessary.

I'm using Davinci Resolve, but am happy to try other programs.

Thanks!

You can use DrDre's tool for different colors, but any filter or lighting difference that cannot be expressed through a 3D LUT (3-dimensional RGB color mapping), will not be possible to fix with it.

Thanks for that! DrDre's tool is quite helpful for the colours themselves, but indeed the lighting and filters are too distinctive.
