Well, since late 80s, (almost) all movies are encoded in Dolby Surround (or similar, like DTS stereo, Chace etc) and, as it's easier (and cheaper) for studios to put encoded stereo tracks "as is" everywhere, instead of decoding them properly, I guess you can encoded them as Lt Rt.
Can't recall where I read this, though... on lddb forum, probably. |
