STILL GAME: reinstating the original music

Definitely wasn't broadcast with the replacement theme originally, and I'm fairly sure iPlayer had the original audio before they yanked it due to it featuring a young Scottish actor who went on to do a sex crime twelve years afterwards. As far as I remember, iPlayer always had the original audio for all of the series 4 episodes, but I might be wrong*. There's just never been a home video release that did since the old Scottish DVDs before the BBC started handling the disc distribution.

*I think at least some of them were changed to the replacement music, but my recollection is that it was only the ones after the transition to HD that ever had the replaced music on iPlayer, which is corroborated here.

To be honest though, I think this is just a misinterpretation rather than an overdub: whatever she's humming isn't that close to the replacement theme, so I don't think it was meant to be that (maybe it was and it was just a wee in-joke). There is a bit of similarity in the very beginning of it, but I reckon that's probably coincidental; it could just as easily be a wee bit of nothing she's making up on the spot.

Strangely, they actually broadcast this episode again in February 2022, a few months before the aforementioned sex-crime-doer was released after haggling down his sentence from three to two years. The only other episode that hasn't been made available on iPlayer for years is the 2007 Christmas special, Plum Number, which hasn't been on the telly since all the way back in 2019 for some reason. If anybody notices either of these hitting either TV broadcast or iPlayer again any time soon, do let me know!
