Necrobump, but...
The Hong Kong Film Archive has a release print of the midnight release cut. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php...021&page=6 Really wish someone could get the rights for this and release a scan of this print as an extra. Atlas International's rights to the Golden Princess titles have lapsed and reverted to Kowloon Development, so who knows? Thanks given by: PDB

I do wish he'd stop selling projects that have recent physical releases (in true HD if not higher), but that is exciting.

I do believe Warner spoke with him in regards to DM2, but as for anyone else I am not sure.
