I heard about this page at originaltrilogy.com and just signed in here.

Nice too see there are so many people around who hold the artistic value of Movies in high esteem. Personally, I am a fan of the so called 'Spaghetti Westerns' and many other classics from the 60/70s. But their release on DVD/Blu Ray were not always satisfying. Sometimes they ruin the colours, then again they change the sound effects. Its even more surprising if that happens by the own director (George Lucas-Star Wars).. completely changing the orginal feeling of the movie from the cinema. Yes a movie must feel right and adding some effects 20 years later can't be good.

Well long story short, thats why i joined this forum, with the intention to support those good projects to bring the original Art back.

Welcome! I'm a big fan of spaghetti westerns also. Just watched the Great Silence a few days ago.

Actually that is my 2nd favorite Italian Western after the Good the Bad and the Ugly or lets say il buono, il brutto, il cattivo

I love Once Upon a Time in the West a little better but Great Silence is a close 3. Sergio Corbucci was the man.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is the best bar none.

Yesterday, I watched a late Corbucci: il bianco il nero il giallo (the white, the black and the yellow) with great Eli Wallach. The movie is a parody/comedy flick and much better than I first expected. The chemistry between them actors was great and you could feel the fun they shared during filming it.

Agree with all here, the old spaghetti-westerns are awesome, with TGTBTU being the best of the bunch.
