Jacob's Ladder (1990) PAL Laserdisc PCM
#1

https://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/36758/PLF...b's-Ladder

16-bit, 44.1khz, Stereo (bit perfect) 1.07 GB, PM for the link.

Please note that because this is from a PAL release so audio has been sped up by 4% and most likely pitch corrected. Both of these issues can easily be fixed using Eac3To.
Program material is recorded on the other side of this disc...

Thanks for letting me know. If you can give me a rough timestamp for the distortion I'll take a look and make sure it's not something I've introduced.

I've had a listen to the scene and noticed what sounds like clipping at 12:16, I think this is when a train goes past as Jacob is standing on the lines at the subway (my player is upstairs, not plugged into my TV so I can't check just now), is this what you were referring to?

I've hooked up an amp to my player, using the analogue connections, and double checked that moment and I hear the same clipping coming right from the disc over headphones.

So it seems the problem is either baked into the disc's audio or it's a problem with my player. Either way I'm hearing the same audio in the file as I'm hearing coming straight from my player.

If it's a different kind of distortion or at a different moment then please let me know and I'll check it out as soon as I can. I'm very new to bit-perfect PCM ripping so I want to make sure I'm getting it right, so I really appreciate the feedback : )
