An Amazon review of the Flicker Alley Blu-ray/DVD of Chicago (1927) says that the transfer of that movie is from a PAL source and every 25th frame is deleted from the transfer to achieve 24fps speed (instead of PAL-to-NTSC slowdown with the pitch retained). The reviewer checked both the Elephant Films and Flicker Alley Blu-rays and DVDs frame by frame and has confirmed this to be the case. Any interest in making a proper transfer of that?

Any plans to make a 60fps MKV and 1080i BD of the 2004 Turner restored version of The Wizard of Oz (1925) starring Larry Semon and Oliver Hardy? It’s only available in HD on Amazon.
