[Help] Which HDMI capture cards work well with BeSplit?

I didn't know which section this would be appropriate to post this in, since it's pretty cross-section, so forgive me if this is the wrong spot.

So, to make a long story short, AVerMedia capture cards are able to capture Dolby Digital noise in PCM format and it can be successfully be converted to bit-perfect AC3 DD 5.1 audio.

Unfortunately though, AVerMedia's drivers have rendered the capture card I was using (Extremecap U3) pretty useless.

I replaced it with an open-source, plug and play capture card, the Inogeni 4K2USB3. However, the conversion generates some... unsavoury results.

So, before I invest in yet another capture card, I'd like to get some confirmation that it WILL work with BeSplit for my type of audio work.

I was keen towards the Elgato HD60 S, since it also has uncompressed capture capabilities, but I want you guys to let me know; If you do this kind of thing that I'm speaking of, what capture card are you doing it with?

Heck, you don't even have to know first-hand, any insight would be great.

If there is any resampling whatsoever applied to the PCM track containing the AC-3 stream then the stream will become corrupted and unrecoverable. Mediainfo can usually detect a lossy format like AC-3/DTS within a padded PCM stream, if this is the case with your capture then you should be able to demux the audio and run it through besplit.
If a driver update has caused this problem is it possible to roll back to a previous update?

Not directly, but like I described, and as shown in those Twitter videos, it can still capture PCM Stereo audio containing 5.1 DD audio and then you can convert to its natural state like so.

The thing is, I always demux the audio before I convert it, so it must be re-sampled from the source.

As for the driver issue, I was able to circumvent this for a time by simply uninstalling and then re-installing the drivers, however recently it's gotten worse to where I can't even get anything past a black screen. These AVerMedia devices have certainly evolved to self-awareness.
