Typo the heading should say doesn’t make it clear. With 4k versions of classics and I don’t know how to talk to him about his ghostbusters fix. because there’s a new uhd coming out using a 100gb disc instead the original 66gb and it’s using Dolby vision instead of regular hdr and it includes the original theatrical audio. this his YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqM4y8-IkNE&t=2s

Frankly, I did not understand what are you talking about, seriously! Big Grin

The only thing I understood is the guy who made the "enhancement" did a good job - whatever it could be considered ethical or not, I'd like to have him here!

So basically, this guy makes digitally enhanced VFX à la Star Wars Special Edition, Blade Runner Final Cut, Indiana Jones UHD, etc., so the exact opposite of a preservation just so the young audience doesn't complain too much when watching the classics of our youth.

What he does is yeah technically that but this is like the the special editions. but the difference is he is updating it to be what the creator intended but couldn’t do anything about. because of the technical limitations of the time but he’s not removing the effects he just fixing them to look less fake.
