Out of curiosity, are there any LD players with symmetric analogue audio outputs?

My bad, I meant "balanced" audio. It's called "symmetrisch" in German: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balanced_audio

Apparently not, at least not as far as I can tell. Even the bestest of the best still used phono outputs. Generally with A/V setups you keep the interconnects as short as possible so it's not a problem. Some players had BNC video connectors though IIRC.

Yah fair enough, it's usually not a big deal, was just curious. In studios it's basically standard for every single connection. Thanks for looking.
