Made using Amazon Open Matte 1080p WEB-DL (16:9) and BluRay 1080p (2.40:1).

I use open matte scenes that fill the screen by adding info on the top and bottom while losing some info on the sides.

If you prefer the widescreen image over the open matte there's plenty of versions out there but I personally prefer a fuller screen image.

There are several instances where the open matte is simply a zoomed image of the BluRay and in those cases I use the BluRay instead.

As for the other scenes the open matte is essentially the IMAX version as it opens up the image compared to the BluRay.

The BluRay was used as the base so you should be able to sync any audio track you want to it.

The weird thing is that when I saw it in digital IMAX, it was in scope all the way through.

SpoRv had already made a version of that kind some years ago. I don't remember what he used for open matte source.

I'd like to see it, too. I went back to spoRv's thread and indeed he used a Russian not so great source, meaning he added quite a lot of grain to smooth the transitions. Even though I prefer filmic grain over video-y digital smoothness, this one could be more pleasing to the eye.

Perhaps it was prepared for imax shots but they canceled it at the last moment.

As far as I'm aware there has never been a full IMAX version. All the ones I researched only have about 12-13 minutes of actual IMAX shots including the SpoRv version.
