Indeed, for HDR lower end models are almost worthless.
I'm sure more a professinonal calibration of my sets will yeld even better results and solve many of my problems, but I'm skeptical I'll achieve a "one setting to rule them all" as I'm very sensitive to brightness/black level issue and HDR mastering still has huge discrepancies.
But I really hope the Calman solution above can bring me peace of mind.
