Great write up as well, I have to confess I never knew this version was the TV debut of part 2 - I assume it was felt the theatrical version would have been to complex for regular viewers? I guess this is the first example of the tinkering that Coppola had become so fond of?

Congrats alleycat ! Your project seem now the definitive version of "A Novel For Television". Did you used as a reference the 1980 rerun of NBC ?

Hello Alleycat - This sounds Amazing !!!! - I recently was going thru VHS Tapes - Found one from 1989 - there was an ad for the Godfather Novel for television over 3 Nights - Here is a link to it -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSDgrvWCMSY I reminded me that i have the VHS boxed set called EPIC - gotta say - down to 4.3 and lots of dark scenes - it just sits there - Love the idea that you have been able to recreate it using the Blu-Ray - with the extra Scenes were they 4.3 or 16.9 ? - anyways from Australia - The WHole family love the godfather - - Saw it at the Movies originally - then on BETA VHS DVD Blu Ray etc - WOul like to nicely ask how can we get your version - is it on DVD with the COVER ? - hoping to hear from you soon
