Not at all Sir.
I'm holding off on the project it for a little while, Ive got a lot going on in my personal life at the moment.
I'm also still doing research on how best to handle the color correction ect.

Big project it will take sometime.

I don't condone such things, but outside of a 35mm showing somewhere, it maybe our only way of getting to the bottom of it.

"Speak of the devil, and he shall appear!"

I actually decided to look them up on Usenet search engines and see if I could find some old postings from before the DVD release. I ran into some NZBs that were missing pieces and couldn't be repaired, as well as some that gave me errors that download failed and the files might be outside of my newsreader's retention period. (These were ~2400 days old, which is basically my provider's maximum retention.)

But miraculously, I was able to successfully get both a full-size IMG file of the studio screener (not just a compressed rip), and both halves of a German camrip (anybody remember when these things would be compressed and split to fit onto two CDs?). I didn't find a DVD-sized version of the camrip anywhere, not even any dead torrents or incomplete NZBs of one, but I'm lucky to have even gotten both halves of this version, so I can't complain. These things may have been weeks away from being unrecoverable. (Who would have ever thought old bootlegs would become archaeological artifacts?)

So we now have two different, complete pre-home-release versions. CSchmidlapp, I know you said you were taking a break, but if you're interested in them...

TServo2049 did I ever tell you, you are a Legend. No! well sir, you are a Legend.
Good find! my searches through the dregs of Torrent land came up with next to nothing.

It would be great to get them off you at some point if that's o.k.

No problem, I'd be glad to help.

Yeah, I am amazed I successfully got both as well. For a while I thought I was only going to get the second half of the camrip, but I did find an NZB with both halves that worked. My NZB program failed to fully unpack it, but the full set of RARs came through and I was able to manually extract them.

I wish I was able to find one for Begins also, they had to have existed, but they would have fallen out of newsreader retention years ago and they don't turn up on NZB searches. (I found a couple dead torrents that said DVDSCR, though.)

TServo2049 kindly supplied me with CAM and a early screener dated 08/15/08. The Screener is very interesting to say the least.

Here is a comparison between the

Batman Begins Prologue

Screener

HDTV

Blu-ray

The Blu-ray goes out of sync a few frames midway through.
