[Idea] Game Of Death (1978) US Version DVD Audio to sync to 4K release
#1
Last year I went through my DVD Collection and found an old 1999 US Version DVD of the 1978 Bruce Lee Film "Game Of Death". This DVD has the BEST Audio quality available for this film, period. (Aside from the 1991 Laserdisc, which this DVD uses the same transfer, it even has the CBS/FOX Special Widescreen Presentation Logo before the movie starts).

What's strange is that all recent releases of this film  have really poor audio quality, with muffled audio and incorrect pitch.

I have ripped the Audio from the DVD and converted it to FLAC for easy editing. If Anyone can sync this to the recent 4k release of the US cut of the film, it would be the definitive release of this great film!

here is the link to the audio: https://www.mediafire.com/file/jdu94sxcs....flac/file

Nice!  Interestingly I felt the same about the recent releases, sounded weak.  I may give this a go!

Thanks!

Does the bad pitch also affects the Arrow release?

AFAIK, the Arrow releases use the same LD/first DVD source for its main mono track. It also has the bonus of restoring the Raymond Chow presents title card which was missing on all other ones.
