Seems that LD audio is only 'valid' for the USA Theatrical Cut, and not the two other cuts available via seamless branching from ARROWs 4K & BD release(s).
Be great as PCM and not FLAC to sync to a remux. Already made custom remux of all three cuts from the 4K UHD I own, and removed the Atmos upmix. Atmos doesn't belong on a 42 year old movie.

The UHD mono sounds so similar to the LD, you can use it to patch in the extended scenes with little-to-no audible difference.

So what? ARROW VIDEO went above and beyond for the 4K/Blu-ray disc releases regarding CONAN THE BARBARIAN & CONAN THE DESTROYER. This is just a minor nitpick regarding the USA Theatrical Cut mono audio which can be easily added to via a random remux! Keep the already induded on-disc mono, add the LD mono, and jettison the useless Atmos remix! Easy peasy lemony squeezy!
ONLY thing I'd do, is literally add vintage interviews and more for a custom bonus features disc for the ARROW VIDEO release since to me it's the best comercially available. Obviously that's completely different from a custom remux.

I can't discern any audible difference between the UHD and LD mono tracks.

Again, Atmos doesn't belong on a 42 year old movie, especially when the original cinema mix was mono. Fucking pointless, and I've never listened to it. Waste of time.

They had overhead surrounds way back in the late 60s and they're used so sparingly it sounds like a plain stereo remix ., the mad max and batman remixes bothered me much more.
