[Fan edit] The Bourne Identity - The 'Ludlum' Cut.
#21
I have thought about making his edit, when I saw CinemaStix's video. But thank God it was already done by someone way more knowledgeable about it. Want to show this version to wife who has never seen it but keeps hearing about how I love the Bourne saga.
Thank you for your work!

Funny enough I have never seen The Bourne Identity, only bits and pieces over the years, and I sort of dismissed the franchise as "predictable action movie series". I've been following Danny Boyd for years and love his CinemaStix channel and only just saw his video on this potential edit last night.

Looking forward to hopefully giving this a watch once I can send you a PM. Thanks for making these cuts!

Let the "let's put the 60-day wait to good use in the meantime so you earn it instead of showing yourself as entitled to get it" begin!

I saw the cinemastix video and figured I would just skip the scenes in the movie until I found this! Looking forward to it

I've heard about fan edits before but after learning about the Ludlum cut I truly wondered if the best way to experience this thing for the first time is this way (plus buying the actual thing too to watch/compare)! Fingers crossed I can avoid spoilers for the next 60 days...well I've made it this far into my life without spoilers I bet I can go two more months 😅

There is a reveal, but it's shown to the audience way before the Character of Bourne.
In this edit, we strictly follow Bourne and only Bourne, only revealing information when he discovers it.
It's closer to how Robert Ludlum's Novel plays out, and personally I think was the original intention before reshoots.

The consequence of this edit is characters, some played by big name actors, are cut down to cameo's.

This edit does not affect the sequels in any way, and they follow on perfectly.
I'm excited to watch! Also, have you heard good things about the novel? I wonder if I should give it a read?
