[Help] Hello & Trying to understand the system

Video
Hey Im Dom,
Was just browsing after stumbling across FanRestore while scouring for a 35mm transfer of T2 and immediately am hooked.

I've been a big fan of the BR2049 Open Matte that I tracked down years ago and upgraded to the 4k Hybrid-y releaseĀ a few months back but am now coming across so many incredible projects! The only thing I have made myself is some high quality upscales of the Muppets Show but I'm doubtful anyone is foaming at the mouth for those lol.

For instance, id love to see a Skyfall Open Matte I've found (which appears to have been discontinued although many have a copy?) but finding links and/or talking to the right people seems daunting. Any advice?

Cheers and happy to be here,
Dom

Welcome, Dom. Well, first I suggest you read the rules of this forum. In a nutshell, you can't access squat as a newbie. You must become an active member, a useful asset who provides stuff for projects, even simply offering a review viewing for an ongoing project, be a member who answers questions people might have on any subject adressed here that you're knowledgeable about, give your two cents on some matters, basically make friends while taking part in conversations here. You can create threads, too, as you just did. No spams though. For instance, there's a thread called "what are you watching?" where you can write a quick review of what you recently watched so that others can be interested, and that'll help putting you on the map. And then, at some point, project makers will be inclined to share their stuff with you. However, if you came here to treat this forum as if it were a torrent site, you're in the wrong place. See you!

Hi Dom.

Welcome.
I look forward to getting to know you.

I love that BR2049 open matte, I had no idea there was a 4K upgrade!
Thanks for the heads-up.

I know it all this seems alittle daunting, but no need to worry.
As Beber has already pointed out have a read of the rules and see you in the forum.
