Welcome to insanity, guys. Brace yourselves.
As many of you probably already know, there's this thing called the Mandela effect that have people claiming to have collective memory of things of the past that the current official world claims never existed. I don't care about the validity of either claim, sci-fi parallel realitiy theories, conspiracies and such. I'm just interested in the so-called movie Shazaam starring Sinbad that some claim was released before the Kazam movie starring Shaquille O'Neal that some claim is the reason why many people get confused. I already read all about it, seen videos on the subject, the April fool video Sinbad made around 2017 to mock the situation, the fake VHS covers and labels someone fabricated, etc. I seem to remember that it did exist back in the day though, although I never saw it, neither the Shaq one for that matter, as I was already too old to watch kid movies, but to me it was one of those movies with a similar concept such as Volcano and Dante's Peak or Armageddon and Deep Impact for instance and I'm pretty sure I saw it on a shelf in videostores in the 90s. So I figured, since this forum is international and dedicated to film history and preservation, if it did in fact exist, maybe somebody here has a VHS of it, either a real edition or a TV recording. Yep, insanity, I told you!
