I can't believe I've been so stupid! The Alien Anthology Archives have all the pics I could ever need as reference! D'oh! Amazing place to start.

Yeah, but you been doing a great job on regrading Aliens back to its original 35mm film print color timing.

OK a bit more progress but it's so subjective without references. I've tried getting hold of the 35mm scan that's floating around out there but not luck so far. I'm going to look for the old dvd or vhs to see if that can shed some light (so to speak) on how it should look. But here's the purple room grabs looking more purple and not as pink.














The experimentation continues...

I mean just look at the colors in that picture you previously posted. This looks very lifelike unlike the home video releases, even those prior to the 2010 Special Edition Blu-Ray version. Each colors on this one actually pops out beautifully.

I'm working through it systematically. First section with the hospital scene is done, the projection room is done, and last night i did the hearing scene but it looked a bit dark when i checked it out this morning. I'll put up some more shots when i get a mo...
