When fanres first started over a year ago, there was a group of some people that already knew each other (to various degrees) that have worked on and/or released certain projects prior to the "birth" of this forum; and/or that had already established themselves as people that are Power Users (meaning they are around a lot, help people out, engage in conversations, but don't necessarily release their own projects)
As time passes and new members join the forum, naturally there will be those that end up contributing to the community and those that will take up working on projects of their own. We, the fanres staff, know from experience that completing an entire project requires time, effort, some skills, dedication, and a lot of patience; therefore, we believe that those members should be acknowledged.
Of course, those of us that have worked a numerous projects feel that completing a single project, although it's a fantastic start, does not yet constitute the requirements for Project Maker status.
So, we have decided that we will create a new user group called "Junior Project Maker" for those of you that have just started on your "journey" into restoration/preservation work (once you start down this road, it's hard to stop, LOL) and managed to complete your first project.
We would like to congratulate our first Junior Project Maker, alexpeden2000, who has just completed his first project! uperman: :victory:
We look forward to seeing any more potential projects from him and/or from any other members of the forum in the future
