[Help] The Goonies - 5.1 Mix DVD vs BD?

Bit of a random question, but I've been trying to find a bit more info on the mix history of this movie on home video, and I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on whether or not the discrete surround mix ever changed over the years?

It seems that a 5.1 mix was available on DVD all the way back in 2001, and I have zero clue if the mix itself ever changed over the years or if the only thing that changed was just the encoding itself?

Hi, I remember initial DVD was said to have the original 70mm 6-track mix , while subsequent releases up to the UHD used a remix (potentially using the 6-track elements)

I don't suppose you have any of the releases handy?

The most annoying thing atm is that whilst I have a copy of the DVD, BD & UHD somewhere, the latter two are God-knows-where and the former I've managed narrow down to a box in my attic where I essentially have to lie flat on the ground and worm my way to it—which, needless to say, is not high up on my list of things I want to do in order to check a rumor.

On the note also of the BD and UHD, I read that apparently there is a difference between the surround mix on those releases; does anyone have any information on this matter either?

I don't have the dvd mix unfortunately. Looks like you're spelunking this weekend
Don't have any in depth info on the differences between the lossless mixe either, only what you can gather from different reviews. I wouldn't rule out the exact same mix with a different codec and maybe a slight gain difference
