Have any of you seen the CEE set of Star Wars? Are there any differences from the regular crappy DNR-bathed sets?
What is the benefit of CEE Blurays?

It is my understanding that TPM looks better, not as waxy, as the US release. I've got them downloaded now, I'll check them out.

It's my understanding that other country releases are sometimes better, sometimes worse, but often the same. Examining the video track bitrates I've often found them to be identical to the byte.
CEE releases tend to be more popular because of the plethora of audio and subtitles tracks they contain. A R1 disc may have English, Spanish, French, and that's about it. CEE discs will frequently have a dozen audio language tracks and twice as many subtitle tracks. As such, they tend to be more heavily shared on sites because it is accessible to more people. I honestly don't think there's much more to it than that.
